The La Trobe Journal

This website is a full-text archive of the La Trobe Journal, a scholarly publication produced by the State Library of Victoria Foundation.

First published in April 1968, the journal features articles written by researchers who have drawn on the Library's rich and varied collections as source material.

What you can do

The website allows you to:

  • browse through the entire archive, as well as read complete editions
  • search for and read individual articles
  • view and print transcripts of articles or images of original journal pages
  • search articles and bibliographies by author, title and keyword.

Current editions

You can find out about the contents of recent editions, as well as read feature articles from each issue on the State Library of Victoria website. Copies can also be purchased via the Library's online shop.

Members of the State Library of Victoria Foundation receive copies of the journal as part of their membership.
